MEN’S & WOMEN’S MINISTRY
At St. Peter’s, we understand that men and women have different needs, this therefore influences the way we shape our programs, nurture people and provide them with the opportunity to respond to Jesus. For this reason we seek to run a variety of gender specific outreach and nurture events as well as small groups.
For Men
Outreach Dinners
To assist men in the task of sharing Jesus with their mates, we hold a couple of dinners each year, which are designed to be easy invites for blokes. At these dinners we hope to help men to engage with Jesus.
Growth Groups
Men’s Bible growth groups meet in people’s homes during the week.
Men @ Glen
Men @ Glen is an annual men’s conference in March, in Glen Innes.
For Women
Outreach Events
Breakfasts and dinners are held at different times of the year as a means of sharing Jesus with friends and family as well as seeking to encourage women to follow Jesus.
Growth Groups
A number of growth groups for women meet during the day and evenings in order to develop relationships between other women and Jesus.
Homemakers
On the third Wednesday of each month a group of women of all ages meet together for fellowship and to hear from a guest speaker.
Country Craft Group
Each Thursday during school term, a group of women meet together to use and develop their craft skills in a social setting. If you would like to learn a craft or engage with others as you do so, then this is for you.
